the friendliness of the staff the comfort and cleanliness of room and restaurant. Buffet style breakfast was really good
we were unable to get a drink in the bar when we got there because we paid cash for the room as it was a present from our children as it was our wedding night

easy access to stairs not hidden away, buffet breakfast (good choice) good walk in shower rather than a bath, a sofa to sit on when in your room.
i was abit confused with the entrance in by car and the car park itself.

Clean, modern room, nice bathroom and shower. Good place to spend a night if your in the area. Friendly staff, near a main road but you can't really hear it. Did not try the food.

Close to Dickens World and Chatham Harbour, which we were visiting
They wanted to charge me for breakfast even though I had pre-paid

Helpful staff. Modern & clean hotel. Good quality breakfast. (only had breakfast)
The tea & coffee facilities being near the hairdryer and mirror. if staying for longer then 2 nights not enough clothes storage.

This time it was much easier to find and travelling with my 16 year old daughter, we both felt safe.
Unfortunatly on this occasion the hotel guests above us were extreamly noisy and this has put me off using you for the next trip. I had to ring down at 5.30am to complain, but had been woken previously at 3am then 4am. It was not the restful one night I expected.

Arrived for a wedding at a nearby castle, the staff were very helpful with arranging taxi's and giving views on our wedding location, the bar although small was fine for our party as we were the only ones using it.
I found the location of the hotel could have been better but maybe when the parking area is finished or at least tidyed up this should improve the view, one thing that I perticularly did not like was the lack of hanging space in the bedrooms, as this just consisted of a bar that came out of the wall with hangers on it, saying this, I'm sure that on a bussiness trip and only staying one or two nights for a single person this may be adequate,

The location is very convenient for where I was working, and for the Chatham Historic Dockyard.

The hotel was very nice and clean and the staff were great and very helpful.
On the Saturday night the hotel bar had a load of very drunk staff in it, some were getting a bit loud so the manager decided to close the bar early. I didn't feel this was fair on the guests.

Very convenient location, decent sized rooms, good choice at breakfast and very good value for money.
Bed was very hard and there was nowhere to put shampoo, soap etc while in the shower.

Staff were very helpful and the breakfast arrangements wer relaxed and well orgainsed. Relatively speaking the cost of the stay for the room size, etc was quite reasonable.

Location is excellent for "Chatham historic shipyard" or good for Rochester. Free parking was great.
We chose the Ramada Encore based on past experiences with the Ramada Encore chain. We usually like those hotels because you feel welcome... Well, we felt that we were disturbing the staff most of the time: - 3 members of staff + 2 managers for hotel half empty Despite of that, you need to stand at reception for a minute so staff can come to you. (they were usually hidden in office or at the other side of restaurant). Same things for the bar; no member of staff behind the bar...you have to go there nevertheless and eventually someone will come to serve you. Despite 5 members of staff and very few customers: terrasse managed to have full ashtrays, empty pack of crisps on floors... One of the managers (the mature one) seems to be very please with his title but does not know how to lead by example. At one point we were at reception, he was there and he had to call a member of staff (from other side of restaurant) to attend us. Sunday morning: 9am; noisy hoover in the corridors. Check out is at 12h but yet they come to clean room at 10h even though you book for one night (yes I know, I should have put the sign out :) ) Finally usually "Ramada Encore" makes you feel welcome by giving you a free bottle of water and a chocolate bar. When you put on the reception desk "Please ask for a free chocolate bar"....well you're missing the point ! If I need to beg or ask for this...then the whole "welcome" is lost. On a safety issue: fire safety doors are meant to remain shut for a reason.
